BATTLE MOUNTAIN - Concerned about weeds invading your rangeland, farm or garden?
Joy Newton and Jay Davison, with the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, will present a short training seminar on new weed threats to Lander County titled "Weeds to Watch" from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Cooperative Extension Office at 815 North 2nd Street, Battle Mountain.
Attendees will learn how to identify these new weeds and how to properly report them so action can be taken to prevent them from becoming established.
