Thomas Wade George (left), who previously pleaded guilty to child abuse, neglect or endangerment, was in court for a continued sentencing hearing Monday but the hearing was once again continued due to the lack of a psycho-sexual evaluation. George was originally scheduled for sentencing Nov. 18 but did not have the evaluation completed at the time so the hearing was continued. At Monday's hearing, George told Judge Richard Wagner he had gone to the appointment and received the evaluation but no one in court had a copy of the report. Although the victim's mother was present in court to give a victim impact statement, Wagner said he would continue the sentencing once more and put the burden on George's attorney (Steve Evenson, right) to obtain the report. Without a pscyho-sexual evaluation, George cannot be considered for probation. The victim's mother was given the opportunity to speak on the record while she was in the courtroom, but Deputy District Attorney Richard Haas indicated she would return to see the process through. Sentencing was set for Jan. 24 at 4 p.m.
