Two men arrested on suspicion of meth-related charges

WINNEMUCCA - Humboldt County Sheriff's deputies Kevin Malone and Kathy Green arrested Jared Alan Holm and John Anthony Ritter Wednesday on suspicion of multiple meth-related charges after an investigation into a property crimes case, according to an HCSO news release.

Holm was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a hypodermic device, and possession of methamphetamine.

Ritter was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation violation.

According to the release, the arrest occurred during the course of the property crimes investigation when Malone and Green made contact with Holm to the rear of Sundance Casino. Holm was found to have a pair of brass knuckles and four baggies of suspected methamphetamine in his possession.

After Holm's arrest, Malone and Green continued their investigation and subsequently arrested Ritter at his residence.

Both subjects were booked into Humboldt County Detention Center. Holm is being held on $34,754 bail and Ritter is being held on a no bail probation violation hold.
