Tomoko Nendick passed away on June 28, 2012, leaving behind a beloved family and many friends. She was born in November, 1926, in Kagoshima-ken, Japan.
In March, 1957, she married Richard Nendick, her husband of 53 years, in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. She and Richard were residents of Winnemucca for 40 years and attended the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Tomoko was a dedicated wife and mother who also enjoyed gardening, spoiling her cats and visiting with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband in December, 2010, and will be greatly missed by her daughters Cathleen Sherman, Suzanne Thomas and Diane Hummel and their extended families.
A graveside service will be held for her immediate family at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore., where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
