WINNEMUCCA - Three former Lowry High School football players have been recognized as players of the week at their respective colleges,
Will Thacker was named the Offensive Player of the Week for Western Montana and Jace Billingsley was the Offensive Player of the Week for Eastern Oregon. Billingsley had seven receptions for 65 yards and returned one kick for 22 yards.
Gus Ramasco, a sophomore quarterback for Jamestown College, led the Jimmies to 349 total yards and four touchdowns in a loss to Concordia-Moorehead last Saturday. Ramasco threw for 227 yards on 18-of-34 passing with touchdown tosses of five and 34 yards. He also scored on a 1-yard run.
Ramasco was named the Association of Independent Institutions Male Athlete of the Week.
