French Ford Middle School students observed a Cancer Awareness Day by wearing pink on Friday, Oct. 17. While October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the students at French Ford wore pink to raise awareness of cancer, in general. Principal Robert Lindsay said the observance helped students understand the significance of so many Americans wearing pink, and to support of those battling the disease here locally.
