Theodore Gerald Starr, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2013, at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.
Ted was born Jan. 9, 1973, in San Andreas, Calif., and had lived in Lovelock, Nev., for five years, coming from Angels Camp, Calif.
He had worked for five years for Pershing Gold Corp.
Ted loved spending time with family and friends and loved his hot rod cars.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy and sons, Cody and Ryan Starr, and his mother-in-law, Sharon Tarter, all of Lovelock; his father, Jerry Blackard (Betsy) and brother, Scotty Blackard, all of Rifle, Colo.; mother, Sharron Starr and brother, Jason Starr, both of Angels Camp, Calif.; brother, Stretch Blackard of Tok, Alaska.
A celebration of Ted's life will be held later in Angels Camp, Calif.
Arrangements are with Smith Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Fallon, Nev., (775) 423-2255. In lieu of flowers there is a memorial fund set up in Angels Camp,Calif.
