This picture was taken in the early 1900s. We know the name of the bartender, Henri Savornire. He is the handsome gentleman with the mustache behind the bar. The other three we don't know, though we do know the trade of the patron closest to Henri, he was a blacksmith. He has the long divided leather apron of his trade.
There are two other fascinating items in this photo. Behind Henri is a felt marker blob. Before the museum received this photo a family member "cleaned" it up. They didn't want a picture of a naked lady in Grandpa's picture! The other is more prosaic. Next to the bar, on the left, is an elaborate cabinet. That is an ice box. A real ice box! Made of oak and beautifully detailed. Mr. Savornire could serve his patrons cold drinks! Quite up to date for the time!
