Purpose and pride continues to thrive at Sonoma Industries. As a parent of an individual who benefits from services provided by Sonoma Industries and as a long-time advocate for individuals with cognitive impairments, I wish to thank the Humboldt County Board of Commissioners for their support for such a vital program.
I'm certain that many of the items you'll find for sale at Sonoma Thrift may have an extraordinary history, but may be overlooked or under-valued. So it is with the people who provide services here. They are individuals with physical and/or cognitive challenges who, like the items they sell and services they provide are too often overlooked or under-estimated.
Sonoma Industries is changing that. Sonoma helps these men and women work with care and pride which shines through in the services they provide. With each purchase or donation, you help these remarkable people claim the independence and pride every human being deserves.
