Teresa Gail Rambough passed away on Jan. 13, 2015, in the Battle Mountain General Hospital from a lingering illness.

Gail was born on Sept. 14, 1944, in American Falls, Idaho, to Nettie Wheeler and LuRoy Peck. She had three sisters, Luetta, Luella and Donna and one brother, Vernon.

Her dad passed away when she was about 7. Her mother, Nettie, married Jake Martin in 1960 and she gained another sister, Dian.

Gail graduated from Snake River High School in 1963. She married the love of her life, Frank (Pep) Rambough on March 11, 1967. They had six children, Pamela, Tammy, Blaine, Paula, Brent and Melissa.

They raised their family in Idaho until 1989 when an employment opportunity came to Frank that moved them to Battle Mountain. Gail was employed with Newmont (Carlin) for 13 years until her retirement in 2010.

Gail enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, painting, drawing, ceramics, sewing and she was always willing to share her talents with any of her kids or grandkids that were interested.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, LuRoy; mother, Nettie; and step father, Jake; her sisters, Luetta, Luella and her brother, Vernon; and by her daughter, Melissa Rambough Zollinger.

Gail is survived by her husband Frank (Pep) Rambough and grandchildren they were raising, Cheyann and Madisen Zollinger; her sisters, Donna Smith (Idaho), Dian Ott of Pahrump, Nev.; and her children, Pam Rambough (Philip Diver) from Dallas, Texas; Tammy Rambough from Seattle, Wash.; Blaine (Shawna) Rambough from Seattle, Wash.; Paula (Paul) Tomera from Battle Mountain, Nev.; and Brent (Carolynn) Rambough from Jerome, Idaho; as well as 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Her services were held at the Battle Mountain Civic Center on Jan. 18, 2015.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for all the cards, flowers, calls and prayers that have been sent. We would also like to thank Dr. Peters and all of the Battle Mountain General Hospital staff for their wonderful care for her in her last days.
