WINNEMUCCA - A rattlesnake avoidance clinic will be held in Winnemucca at the 4-H arena at 1085 Fairgrounds Road on Sunday, June 9.
The clinic runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and and is sponsored by the Humboldt County 4-H program.
For a small training fee, people will get the extra assurance and peace of mind that their dogs will avoid dangerous rattlesnake encounters, protecting the dogs, and their families from suffering a rattlesnake bite.
Not only does the "Get Rattled" clinic train dogs, but it also aims to educate the public, providing professional information along with a live rattlesnake display.
