Superintendent appointment on school board agenda

WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County School District Board of School Trustees will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the district office boardroom, 310 E. Fourth St.

The meeting begins with the call to order, public comment, superintendent's report and discussion and possible approval of warrants.

Agenda items include the appointment of Dr. Dave Jensen as superintendent of the district and the hiring process for the assistant superintendent.

Also scheduled is a closed session for a grievance hearing on behalf of Heidi Hull pursuant to Article 27.3 of the HCEA Negotiated Agreement, followed by a determination on the hearing.

The board will also discuss and possibly approve the Malheur County (Ore.) Tuition Agreement and review and possibly adopt board policies, including employees self-reporting arrests and crimes and head injuries.
