St. John Bosco's to hold fish fry

St. John Bosco's Altar Society and Kights of Columbus will hold a fish fry on Friday, April 11 at 6 P.M. in the St. John Bosco Catholic Church Hall.

"We wanted to try something different to see what kind of response we get," said Laurie Pluemer, Altar Society president.

The menu will include fish, baked potato, coleslaw, bread, dessert, punch and coffee. The cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $8 for kids under 10.

Wine and water can be purchased at the dinner. Take-out is available.

Only 150 tickets will be sold, so be sure to get yours early.

The tickets can be bought in advance by contacting Laurie Pluemer at 635-0614, Brenda DeGonia at (775) 445-7116 or the chuch office at 635-2576.

They may also be purchased at the door if all 150 tickets have not been sold in advance.

Proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund scholarships from both the Altar Society and the K.C.s., as well as other projects.

"Hopefully, we'll get a good response and maybe this can be an annual event," said Tom DeGonia, grand knight.[[In-content Ad]]
