The Lowry High School gym was full of junior high and high school girls at the end of last week as part of the Spike Frog Volleyball camp. Spike Frog is a private volleyball skills instruction operated by Dave Taylor in Austin, Texas. Josh Taylor was in town to instruct the camp. The camp teaches core skills in passing and serving. Once those fundamentals are achieved, campers move on to spiking, setting, individual defense and blocking. The camp also gives video analysis, private group lessons and a college recruitment seminar upon request.
