WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular meeting on Monday in courthouse meeting room 201.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. with the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, public comment and possible approval of the Feb. 21 and March 5 meeting minutes.
The administrative report follows at 9:35 a.m. Consent agenda items include requests for adjustment to the Real Property Tax Roll. Also scheduled is solid waste and public lands planning matters, miscellaneous reports and correspondence and claims for expenditure of county funds.
At 9:45 a.m., commissioners will get an update from Jeffrey Ulrich, Santa Rosa District ranger, regarding staffing changes, 2012 projects and other matters related to the district. That will be followed at 10:15 a.m. by a request from Sonoma Industries for $16,000 for the remainder of this fiscal year and $50,000 for the 2012-2013 fiscal year to continue operations of their programs.
At 10:30 a.m., commissioners will hear a request from the sheriff's office for a waiver to the attrition policy for two upcoming vacancies in the patrol division. That will be followed at 10:45 a.m. by an award of quotes for the demolition of a commercial building owned by Humboldt County at 48 E. 4th St.
There are two nuisance issues scheduled for 11 a.m. Commissioners will set to public hearing a nuisance complaint for Parcel #43 Grass Valley Ranchos (Assessor's Parcel Number 05-562-04, Legal owner - Kirk and Deborah Thompson). There will also be a review hearing on a nuisance at 150 Mansell in Golconda.
Road matters follow at 11:15 a.m. Commissioners will set to public hearing a request from Roger Johnson to abandon a portion of Spur Cross Road in Pumpernickel Valley. In addition, they will hear a request to have Lupine taken into the county-maintained system. Also scheduled is the 2012 road surface treatment projects, a report of pending Road Department projects and miscellaneous road-related matters.[[In-content Ad]]
