Sober Senior bingo a success

The Sober Senior Committee would like to express their sincere appreciation to all that were involved with the bingo fundraiser that was held at the Battle Mountain Civic Center on Thursday evening, Jan. 19, and the previous bingo that was held in November. The evening was filled with over 200 bingo enthusiasts who seemed to get a pretty good laugh when I told everyone I was a retard for calling B-60. Madison even helped for awhile when she came over and sat on my lap and put the balls in the proper spaces on the bingo board for me.
Events like this would not be possible without the help of local businesses and their generous donations. The two events were very successful only because of the support we get locally. So a big thanks goes out to all of them.
The Sober Senior Committee is looking at a date in April to have bingo one last time but no date as of yet has been picked. Again, we truly appreciate all the support we have received.
