RENO - New season-ticket sales for University of Nevada football continue to rise as tickets for four of the Wolf Pack's six home games are now on sale.
With less than a month to go before Nevada opens the 2013 season at UCLA, Nevada has sold 1,677 new season tickets for the upcoming campaign.
With a month until the home opener against UC Davis, the school has sights set for at least 2,000 new season ticketholders in the first year of the Brian Polian era
"There is a palpable buzz about Wolf Pack football in our community right now and I'm ecstatic to see that transform into more fans at Mackay Stadium," said Nevada athletic director Doug Knuth. "We have a energetic young coach in Brian Polian who is going to put an exciting product on the field. It's going to be a great season for the Silver and Blue."
The school has sold out of seats in Section D (midfield, west side) at Mackay Stadium and the south RV tailgate lot is also already sold out. Season tickets for the all six Nevada home games start at just $90 a seat.
Tickets for he home opener against UC Davis (Sept. 7) are now on sale. The opener will see the field at Mackay Stadium dedicated in honor of former quarterback, coach and athletics director Chris Ault.
The other three games that will be on sale are: Hawaii (Sept. 21), Air Force (Sept. 28) and San Jose State (Nov. 16). Single-game tickets for Nevada's games against UNLV (Oct. 26) and BYU (Nov. 30) will be on sale Aug. 15.
Single-game tickets start at just $21 with discounts available for children and seniors. Nevada is also offering the three-game Power Pack, which features tickets to UC Davis (Sept. 7), UNLV (Oct. 26) and BYU (Nov. 30) for just $70.[[In-content Ad]]
