WINNEMUCCA - In an effort to ensure a greater exchange of information and communication between the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and the public, Sheriff Ed Kilgore is pleased to announce the second quarterly "Open House with the Sheriff" meeting.
The open house will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the sheriff's office, which is located at the courthouse (50 W. 5th St.).
During these quarterly meetings, the sheriff and his staff will be available to field questions, take suggestions and discuss various issues or concerns with those that attend. A short specific topic of instruction will be presented at the beginning of each open house to help educate members of the community as to certain law enforcement issues.
The first open house was a great success. Even if you attended that one, you are encouraged to come back with any new items for discussion, or questions in general.
