WINNEMUCCA - Sheriff Ed Kilgore and the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office are hosting an open house on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in an effort to ensure a greater exchange of information and communication between the HCSO and the public.
The open house will be held at the Sheriff's office which is located at the courthouse at 50 West Fifth Street.
During the meeting, Sheriff Kilgore and his staff will be available to field questions, take suggestions, and discuss various issues or concerns of those that attend. A short specific topic of instruction will be presented at the beginning of the meeting to help educate community members as to a certain law enforcement issue.
Topics for the meeting will be a discussion of the 2012 State of the Sheriff's Report and a short presentation by one of the department's detectives.
