CARSON CITY- If you did not draw a big game tag in the recent completed main draw, the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) wants to remind sportsmen there are still tags remaining for the upcoming second draw.
The Wildlife Administrative Services Office will accept applications received through the mail until 5 p.m. and through the internet until 11 p.m. on June 25. Applications may be submitted online at huntnevada.com or by mail to Wildlife Administrative Services Office, PO Box 1345, Fallon, NV 89407-1345.
Many of these remaining tags are available to both resident and nonresident hunters. A brief breakdown of the remaining tags can be found below.
For more specific information (specific hunt units, eligibility, etc.) on the remaining tags you can go to huntnevada.com or ndow.org. The online application opened at 8 a.m. on June 10.
Resident:
• Mule Deer Antlerless Any Legal Weapon Depredation Hunt 1101 - 6 tags remaining.
• Mule Deer Antlerless Any Legal Weapon Hunt 1181 - 874 tags remaining.
• Mule Deer Antlered Longbow Hunt 1341 - 691 tags remaining.
• Mule Deer Antlered Muzzleloader Hunt 1371 - 48 tags remaining.
• Junior Mule Deer Either Sex Hunt 1107 - 361 tags remaining.
• Antelope - Horns Longer Than Ears - Longbow Hunt 2161 - 2 tags remaining.
• Antlerless Elk - Any Legal Weapon - Depredation Hunt 4107 - 165 tags remaining.
• Antlerless Elk - Longbow Hunt 4111 - 80 tags remaining.
• Antlerless Elk - Muzzleloader Hunt 4176 - 18 tags remaining.

Final results of the second draw will be provided by Friday, July 13. Any tags remaining after the second draw will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
