School board member Todd Thompson recognized school board Chair Susan Davis for all of her hard work and dedication serving the school board and becoming a Certified Public Official.
Davis recognized Velma Gamble for all her hard work for the District Office and Lander County School District. School board Clerk Anna Penola recognized Becky Sabbagh for her hard work as board secretary, which is a very demanding job, and congratulations on being a first-time mom.
School board member Doug Longchamps recognized Tony and Diane Serna for their time and commitment to Battle Mountain High School girls softball.
School board member Jan Morrison recognized Nickie Boudinot at the Austin High School graduation for giving her own time to help the students at the school and her dedication to all children. She watches them during school and then works at the pool in the summer and continues to watch them.
School board member Mark Lake recognized Sheila Miller for her service to the high school and for working hard to get students involved in science.
School board member John Davis recognized Cindy Clark for going above and beyond for the students in the school district. She is very involved in programs that help kids learn to be helpful, respectful and kind to others.
