The Humboldt County School Board meets Tuesday, June 24 at 4:30 p.m. at the district office board room, 310 East Fourth Street. Trustees will discuss and possibly take action on the following items:
• Approval of the four day work week calendar for the Denio School, Kings River School, Orovada School and Paradise Valley School.
• Acceptance of renewal proposal from Nevada Public Agency Insurance Pool (POOL) and approval for payment from fiscal year 2014-2015 funds.
• Review of avenues available to Humboldt County School District in support of the rec center/Boys and Girls Club.
• Discussion on Nevada Day Parade participation.
• Approval of a resolution to increase funding for K-12 public education in Nevada.
• Board self-evaluation.
• Possible cancellation of the July 8, 2014, school board meeting.
• Approval of the FY14 budget augment.
