Sand Dune Diggers widens lead in pool league standings

Sand Dune Diggers widened its lead in the in the Winnemucca Pool League standings, with a 16-1 win over Hole in the Wall in week 21 action. Sand Dune Diggers is 15-5 and has earned 225 out of a possible 340 points.

Browns Bar M (16-5) remained in second place, despite 2 9-8 loss to The Outcasts and has 216 out of 357 points. The Outcasts (18-2) are third and has 214 points out of 340.

Rack Pack (13-8) is fourth with 213 points, while Club 40 (14-6) is fifth with 206 points and Sand Dune Lizards (14-7) are sixth with 198 points.

8 Balls Ninjaz (12-9) are seventh with 182 points, followed by Breakers (6-14) in eight with 160 points and B.C. Buddies (7-13) and Outlaws (6-15) are ninth and 10th. Hole in the Wall, Winginit and Players 2 round out the standings.

In other week 21 action, Sand Dune Lizards beat Outlaws 10-7, B.C. Buddies defeated Players 2 12-5, Rack Pack knocked off Breakers 11-6 and Club 40 beat 8 Balls Ninjaz 9-8.

Eric Weeks leads the individual standings with a 9.42 average and 62 wins. Bill Septer (9.37) is second with 57 wins and Wayne Elder (9.25) is third with three wins. Bruce Brisco (8.91) is fourth with 61 wins and Ted Garcia (8.88) is fifth with 55 wins.

Weeks leads the Top Gun Standings, while Septer is second and Brisco third. Garcia and Jim Key (8.75) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
