WINNEMUCCA - Sand Dune Diggers jumped to the top spot in the Winnemucca Pool League standings with a 12-5 victory over Sand Dune Lizards in week eight action. Sand Dune Diggers is 7-1 and has earned 93 out of a possible 136 points.
Rack Pack (7-1) defeated Club 40 10-7, but dropped a spot to second and has 91 out of a possible 136 points.
Club 40 (5-3) remained in third place with 80 points, Cheers Hustlers (5-3) is fourth with 79 points, while The Distributors 5-3) is fifth with 71 points. Outlaws (4-4) are sixth with 69 points.
Playahz (3-5) is seventh with 61 points, followed by Bar M (2-6) in eight with 61 points and Sand Dune Lizards (3-5) and Hole in the Wall (3-6) are ninth and 10th. The Breakers and Hole n One finish out the standings.
In other week eight action, The Distributors beat Bar M 10-7, Outlaws defeated Playahz 12-5, Hole in the Wall beat Hole n One 11-6 and Cheers Hustlers knocked off The Breakers 12-5.
Chad Rosenberg leads the individual standings with a 10 average and four wins. Garry Stoker (9.63) is second with seven wins and Larry Henman (9.56) is third with 14 wins. Robert Shell (9.35) is fourth with a 9.35 average and 16 wins and Ted Garcia (9.11) is fifth.
Garcia leads the Top Gun Standings with 16 wins, while Raoul Yott (8.84) is second and Guillermo Garcia (8.81) is third. Mike Anthony (8.68) and Todd Murrah (8.69) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
