Sand Dune Diggers remain in first place

Septer out in front in Top Gun standings

Sand Dune Diggers remained on top in the Winnemucca Pool League standings, despite a second consecutive defeat, losing 9-8 to Outcasts in week 10 action. Sand Dune Diggers is 6-4 and has earned 112 out of a possible 170 points.

Outcasts (9-1) to closed the gap to first place and has 108 out of a possible 170 points. Browns Bar M (9-1) is tied for second place with 108 points, after an 11-6 victory over Hole in the Wall.

Rack Pack (6-4) moved to fourth place with 97 points, while Outsiders (7-3) dropped one spot to fifth with 95 points. Sand Dune Lizards (6-4) is sixth with 91 points.

Club 40 (5-5) is seventh with 91 points, followed by 8 Balls Ninjaz (6-4) in eight with 87 points and Breakers (3-7) and B.C. Buddies (3-7) are ninth and 10th. Hole in the Wall, Outlaws, Winginit and Players 2 round out the standings.

In other week 10 action, Winginit beat B.C. Buddies 9-8, Rack Pack defeated 8 Balls Ninjaz 11-6, Outsiders knocked off Sand Dune Lizards 9-8, Breakers beat Players 2 13-4 and Club 40 defeated Outlaws 13-4.

Bill Septer leads the individual standings with a 9.14 average and 28 wins. Jim Reed (9.13) is second with 32 wins and Eric Weeks (9.10) is third with 32 wins. Ted Garcia (9.00) is fourth with 24 wins and Todd Murrah (9.00) is fifth.

Septer leads the Top Gun Standings as well, while Reed is second and Weeks third. Garcia and Brad McCrea (8.68) are fourth and fifth, respectively. To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 27 games.[[In-content Ad]]
