Sand Dune Diggers moves to front in pool league standings

Septer out in front in Top Gun standings

Sand Dune Diggers jumped back to the lead in the in the Winnemucca Pool League standings, with a 13-4 win over Players 2 in week 24 action. Sand Dune Diggers is 17-6 and has earned 255 out of a possible 391 points.

Browns Bar M (18-5) dropped to second place, after having a bye and they have 244 out of 391 points. Rack Pack (15-9) jumped to third place and has 244 points out of 408 points.

The Outcasts (20-3) fell to fourth with 242 points, while Club 40 (15-8) is fifth with 233 points and Sand Dune Lizards (15-8) are sixth with 214 points.

8 Balls Ninjaz (14-10) are seventh with 314 points, followed by B.C. Buddies (10-13) in eight with 189 points and Breakers (7-16) and Outlaws (7-16) are ninth and 10th. Hole in the Wall, Players 2 and Winginit round out the standings.

In other week 24 action, Breakers beat Hole in the Wall 10-7, Outlaws defeated Winginit 11-6, Rack Pack knocked off Club 40 12-5, 8 Balls Ninjaz beat Sand Dune Lizards 10-7 and B.C. Buddies beat The Outcasts 13-4.

Bill Septer leads the individual standings with a 9.41 average and 68 wins. Eric Weeks (9.35) is second with 70 wins and Wayne Elder (9.25) is third with three wins. Ted Garcia (8.91) is fourth with 64 wins and Bruce Brisco (8.78) is fifth with 69 wins.

Septer leads the Top Gun Standings, while Weeks is second and Garcia third. Brisco and Brad McCrea (8.75) are fourth and fifth, respectively.

To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 64 games.
