Sand Dune Diggers maintain lead in Winnemucca Pool League standings

WINNEMUCCA - Sand Dune Diggers (7-2) defeated Cassidy's Outlaws 10-7 in week nine action to stay on top of the Winnemucca Pool League standings for a third consecutive week with 103 out of a possible 153 points.

Rack Pack (8-1) remained in second place, with a 12-5 win over Ringers and is second with 98 out of a possible 153 points.

Cheers (7-2) held on to third place with a 12-5 win over The Executers and have 95 points.

Cassidy's Outlaws (6-3) are fourth with 84 points and The Losers (5-4) are fifth with, also with 84 points.

Club 40 (3-6) is sixth with 76 points and Hole In the Wall (3-6) moved up a spot to seventh with 75 points. The Executers (4-5) dropped to eighth with 72 points; The Breakers (3-6) are ninth with 68 points and Sand Lizards (3-6) round out the top 10 with 60 points. Miners (3-6) and Ringers (2-7) finish out the standings.

In other week nine action, The Breakers beat Miners 13-4, Hole in the Wall defeated Sand Lizards13-4 and The Losers knocked off Club 40 11-6.

Ted Garcia leads the individual standings with a 9.56 average and 28 wins. Mike Hughes is second with a 9.25 average and seven wins and Harold Brown (9.25) is third. Craig Bernas (9.13) and Joseph Sullivan (9.08) are fourth and fifth, respectively.

Garcia leads the Top Gun standings, while Sullivan is second and Robert Shell (8.88) is third. Jake Roeder (8.83) and Guillermo Garcia (8.79) are fourth and fifth, respectively.

To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 24 games.
