Sand Dune Diggers leads Winnemucca Pool League standings

Sand Dune Diggers held onto its lead in the in the Winnemucca Pool League standings, with a 10-7 win over 8 Balls Ninjaz in week 22 action. Sand Dune Diggers is 16-5 and has earned 235 out of a possible 355 points.

Browns Bar M (17-5) remained in second place, on the strength of a 15-2 win over Players 2 and has 231 out of 374 points. The Outcasts (19-2) are third and has 227 points out of 355 after beating Breakers 13-4.

Rack Pack (14-8) is fourth with 225 points, while Club 40 (14-7) is fifth with 213 points and Sand Dune Lizards (15-7) are sixth with 207 points.

8 Balls Ninjaz (12-10) are seventh with 189 points, followed by Breakers (6-15) in eight with 164 points and B.C. Buddies (8-13) and Outlaws (6-15) are ninth and 10th. Hole in the Wall, Winginit and Players 2 round out the standings.

In other week 22 action, Rack Pack beat Winginit 12-4, Sand Dune Lizards defeated Club 40 9-8 and B.C. Buddies beat Hole in the Wall 12-5.

Eric Weeks leads the individual standings with a 9.36 average and 64 wins.

Bill Septer (9.35) is second with 60 wins and Wayne Elder (9.25) is third with three wins. Ted Garcia (8.94) is fourth with 59 wins and Brad McCrea (8.80) is fifth with 43 wins.

Weeks leads the Top Gun Standings, while Septer is second and Garcia third. McCrea and Bruce Brisco (8.79) are fourth and fifth, respectively.

To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 59 games.
