Sand Dune Diggers leads pool league standings

Weeks out in front in Top Gun standings

Despite a 9-8 loss to B.C. Buddies, Sand Dune Diggers maintained the top spot in the Winnemucca Pool League standings after seven weeks of play.

Sand Dune Diggers (5-2) has 81 out of a possible 119 points. The Outcasts (6-1) beat Players 2 15-2 to move into second place with 79 points.

Browns Bar M (7-0) is only undefeated team left, beating Breakers 11-6 and has 76 out of a possible 119 points.

8 Balls Ninjaz (5-2) moved up to fourth place with 66 points, while Rack Pack (3-4) rounds out the top five with 64 points. Club 40 (3-4) is sixth with 62 points.

Outsiders (4-3) is seventh with 61 points, followed by Sand Dune Lizards (4-3) in eight with 59 points. Hole in the Wall (3-4) and Breakers (2-5) are ninth and 10th. Outlaws, B.C. Buddies, Winginit and Players 2 round out the standings.

In other week seven action, Outsiders beat Club 40 9-8, 8 Balls Ninjaz defeated Winginit 11-6, Sand Dune Lizards beat Rack Pack10-7 and Hole in the Wall knocked off Outlaws 10-7..

Todd Murrah leads the individual standings with a 10 average and four wins. Gabe Garcia (9.81) is second with 15 wins and Eric Weeks (9.21) is third with 25 wins. Bill Septer is fourth with a 9.08 average and 18 wins and Ryan Murrah (9.00) is fifth.

Weeks leads the Top Gun Standings, Septer is second and Ryan Murrah is third. Jim Reed (8.93) and Bill Koestner (8.90) are fourth and fifth, respectively. To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 19 games.[[In-content Ad]]
