WINNEMUCCA - Sand Dune Diggers (8-2) defeated Rack Pack 10-7 in week 10 action to stay on top of the Winnemucca Pool League standings for a fourth consecutive week with 113 out of a possible 170 points.
Cheers (8-2) moved up one spot into second place after a 12-5 victory over Miners and they have 107 points. Rack Pack (8-2) dropped to third, after its loss and has 105 out of a possible 170 points.
The Losers (6-4) are fourth with 98 points and Cassidy's Outlaws (6-4) are fifth with 91 points. The teams traded positions in the standings this week.
Hole In the Wall (4-6) moved up a spot to sixth with 85 points, while Cheers (3-7) moved down one place to seventh with 83 points. The Executers (5-5) are eighth with 72 points; The Breakers (3-7) are ninth with 74 points and Sand Lizards (4-6) round out the top 10 with 71 points. Miners (3-7) and Ringers (2-8) finish out the standings.
In other week 10 action, The Executers beat Club 40 10-7, The Losers defeated Ringers 14-3, Hole in the Wall knocked off Cassidy's Outlaws 10-7 and Sand Lizards beat The Breakers 11-6.
Mike Hughes leads the individual standings with a 9.25 average and 10 wins. Harold Brown (9.25) is second, Ted Garcia (9.22) is third and Craig Bernas (9.13) and Joseph Sullivan (9.08) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
Garcia leads the Top Gun standings, while Jake Roeder (9.00) is second and Robert Shell (8.92) third. Guillermo Garcia (8.72) and Wayne Elder (8.56) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
To be eligible for the Top Gun Standings, a player must have played at least 27 games.
