Sand Dune Diggers hold first in pool league

WINNEMUCCA - Sand Dune Diggers used an 11-6 victory over Club 40 to hold on to the top spot in the Winnemucca Pool League standings after 12 weeks of play. Sand Dune Diggers are 10-2 on with 136 out of a possible 204 points.

Rack Pack (9-3) remained in second place despite a 9-8 loss to The Breakers. Rack Pack has 132 points.

Cheers Hustlers (8-4) are third with 119 points, Club 40 (8-4) is fourth with 115 points and Outlaws (8-4) rounds out the top five with 111 points.

The Distributors (7-5) are sixth with 101 points, Bar M (3-9) is seventh with 94 points. Playahz (4-8) is eighth with 91 points and The Breakers (5-7) and Sand Dune Lizards (4-8) are ninth and 10th. Hole in the Wall and Hole n One finish out the standings.

In other week 12 action, Hole n One beat Sand Dune Lizards 10-7, Sand Dune Diggers defeated Club 40 11-6, The Distributors beat Hole in the Wall 11-6, and Playahz beat Bar M 10-7.

Chad Rosenberg leads the individual standings with a 10 average and four wins. Gary Stoker (9.50) is second with 10 wins and Robert Shell (9.19) is third with 25 wins. Larry Henman (9.16) is fourth with 24 wins and Jim Reed (9.10) is fifth.

Shell leads the Top Gun Standing, while Henman is second and Ted Garcia (9.00) is third. Raoul Yott (8.77) and Guillermo Garcia (8.75) are fourth and fifth.
