Sand Dune Diggers back on top in pool league

Septer out in front in Top Gun standings

Sand Dune Diggers moved back into first place in the Winnemucca Pool League standings, with a 10-7 win over Sand Dune Lizards in week 19 action. Sand Dune Diggers is 13-5 and has earned 199 out of a possible 306 points.

Browns Bar M (15-4) dropped a spot to second place, after a 11-6 loss to Club 40 and has 198 out of 323 points. Club 40 (13-6) is third and has 196 points out of 323 points.

Rack Pack (12-7) is fourth with 195 points, while The Outcasts (16-2) are fifth with 193 points and Sand Dune Lizards (12-7) are sixth with 178 points.

8 Balls Ninjaz (11-8) are seventh with 163 points, followed by Breakers (6-12) in eight with 147 points and Hole in the Wall (7-11) and B.C. Buddies (6-12) are ninth and 10th. Outlaws, Winginit and Players 2 round out the standings.

In other week 19 action, 8 Balls Ninjaz beat Players 2 11-6, Breakers defeated Outlaws 11-6, The Outcats knocked off Winginit and Rack Pack beat B.C. Buddies 13-4.

Bill Septer leads the individual standings with a 9.42 average and 51 wins. Eric Weeks (9.39) is second with 55 wins and Wayne Elder (9.25) is third with three wins. Bruce Brisco (8.91) is fourth with 58 wins and Ted Garcia (8.84) is fifth with 49 wins.

Septer leads the Top Gun Standings, while Weeks is second and Brisco third. Garcia and Jim Key (8.71) are fourth and fifth, respectively.
