Died at home, Winnemucca, Nev.
Ryan was born in Beaver Dam, Wis., Feb. 28 1982, the son of Roxanne Booth and Bill Higley. Ryan moved to Nevada when he was 2 years old. He graduated from Lowry High School in 2000. He moved to Arizona after graduation and worked as a finish carpenter in the construction industry.
He met and married his wife, Leah Higley, May 24, 2005 and they have a son, Camden Higley.
Ryan loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding ATVs and motorcycles, watching movies, listening to music and having BBQs. Ryan was a very loving and caring family man, they meant everything to him. He will be greatly missed and always remembered in our hearts.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Leah, and son, Camden of Benson, Ariz. His mother, Roxanne (Earl) Booth of Winnemucca and father, Bill (Tammy) Higley of Arizona. His brother, Tyler Higley and sister, Amber Howard both of Winnemucca. His grandparents, Georgia Lueptow and Ron and Pat Lueptow all of Wisconsin. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, step brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ryan is preceded in death by his grandparents Udale and Daisy Higley and several great grandparents.
A memorial service will be held for Ryan on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 5 p.m. at the Grass Valley Baptist Church located at 4150 W Thomas Canyon Road in Winnemucca, Nev.
