Basketball has come to an end for the Rural Schools this year, but the kids had a lot of fun along their journey this season. The Division 1 championship game was between McDermitt and Paradise Valley. McDermitt took first place with a score of 41-21. The MVPs from each team were Tanner Coble from McDermitt, Va Draunidalo from Orovada, Lane Johnson from Denio and Zeda Sandavol from Paradise Valley. The championship game for Division 2 was between Paradise Valley and Orovada with a score of 28-15, Paradise Valley taking first place. The MVPs for Division 2 were Precious Masters from McDermitt, Tyler Nye from Orovada and Heather Hall from Paradise Valley. The pee-wee league didn't have a championship game but they sure had a lot of fun, and much of the crowd enjoyed watching them travel up and down the court. The players had a great time this season and can't wait for next year to come around, and get back out on the court.[[In-content Ad]]
