RENO - The Community Foundation of Western Nevada has six scholarships open to students of rural Nevada schools.
Most scholarship applications are completed online on the Community Foundation website, nevadafund.org and attachments such as letters of recommendation and transcripts are uploaded directly into the application. The majority of scholarship applications are due by Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
Each scholarship is comprised of unique characteristics and rewards students with specific qualifications. Every scholarship application is read by a selection committee of five- or more- members, unique to that scholarship fund. CFWN receives hundreds of applications annually.
