WINNEMUCCA - The Rotary Club of Winnemucca is pleased to introduce two new members of the organization to the community.
Club President Mike Bumgartner and membership Chairman JoAnn Casalez formally inducted the new members during a ceremony at a recent meeting.
Bumgartner had the distinct pleasure of bringing his wife Edie into the club. John Siegfried, a charter member, brought Henry Kingman into the club.
They join local business and professional folks who are finding new ways to serve the community. These new members bring their skills, enthusiasm and willingness to join others in service. If you are interested in such endeavors, please join them at noon each Wednesday at Las Margaritas.
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and to develop networking as a opportunity for service; to promote high ethical standards in business and professions; to apply the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life; and to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional personas united in the ideal of service.
Rotary Club members are business and professional leaders who volunteer in their communities and promote world understanding and peace. Rotary is nonreligious, nonpolitical and open to every race, culture and creed. For more information, please contact Bob Shaw at 304-4139 or John Siegfried at 625-2328.
