Born 11-04-1928 in Webster County, Missouri, passed away in Reno on 12-02-2011.
Proceeded in death by his parents Garrett B. and Della (Brixey) Kittrell, sister Helen, brothers Donald, Kenneth Paul, Claude, Jack, Harry Lester, and Bruce.
Bob is survived by brothers Ray and wife Mary Lee of Fayetteville, Ark.; Phillip and wife Rose of Marshfield, Mo.; Gerald (Jerry) and wife Rita of Charlotte, Tenn.; Larry W. of Springfield, Mo.
Uncle Bob is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from Marshfield High School and went on to serve two tours of service in the US NAVY (YN1). He was stationed for a while in the south Pacific and also in Europe. After the military he traveled the US until he settled in Aberdeen, Wash., where he went to work for Swanson Food Stores. Starting at the bottom he soon worked his way up from stocker/cashier to dept. manager to store manager and ended up managing three stores and was head buyer for all three. Retiring after thirty years in 1994.
While in Aberdeen Bob was also a member of the ELKS Lodge where he attained the highest position on the local level.
In retirement Bob moved to Winnemucca to live near brother Claude. He made many friends while there and every where he went through out his life. Bob was a great mentor to many of his nieces and nephews, giving many insights on life and guiding them to a better life.
