Ricky Donavan Slover - Obituary

Ricky Donavan Slover went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2012.

Born March 29, 1959, in Lakeview, Ore., to Milton Slover and Roberta Lepley. Rick started his journey in this world larger than life. He attended grammar school in Lakeview, Ore., and graduated high school in Winnemucca in 1977.

His greatest joys in life were family gatherings whether it was deep in the wood hunting for elk, fishing or just sitting around the campfire in the middle of no-where, He was always the first to offer up a BBQ at his home and would then proceed to also do the cooking for his family. When the shop door was open, you knew you were always welcome.

Rick was a carpenter by trade from a young age. He had his own contracting company R&S Builders for many years which gave him the talent to build their dream home. He started work for the Klamath Falls City Maintenance department in 1992 until present.

He leaves behind his soul mate "Lovie" Cheryl Slover, mother and stepfather Roberta and Lee York, Ma and Pa - Milton and Betty Slover, the light of his life Granny Zona Lepley,(Fernley).

Sister Linda Garrett (Reno) Brother Lane and Krista Slover (Fruitland, Idaho), sister Kim and John Picetti (Fernley), sister Lori and Bret Dodson (Lakeview, Ore.), sister Joyce and Al York-Villalobos (San Diego, Calif.),sister Becky Badger (Portland, Ore.), Brother Joe Gordon (Klamath Falls, Ore.), his boys Tanner, Travis and Walker Slover, Billy, Bobby (and Kathleen) and Bradly (and Trisha) Oleachea, Michael (and Kasey) and Ty Miller, his Unkie Delaine Lepley and Aunt Jessie (and Jim) Freeman, 6 grandsons - Justin (Little Man), Cole, Shane (Sugar Shane), Shad, Bradly (LB) and Cody (Coders) Oleachea, his nieces, nephews and cousins (who were his shining stars), and many other numerous relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ardis Lepley and grandparents Clifford and Lena Slover. And numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Extended family and friends.
