Richard passed away Monday morning peacefully with his family by his side.
He grew up in Southern California and moved to Winnemucca in 1994 to work in mining.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobbie Stersic.
He will be missed greatly by his four children, Joleen, Charlie, Samantha & Gina. He leaves behind his mother Shirley, two sisters Cindy & Cathy, his brother Ed, niece Kiera, and many, many friends.
In honor of Richard's life, his family will be holding an open house at his home at 3295 Moon Lane on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. All his friends and co-workers are invited.
