Before playing Idaho on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Lowry High School, players, coaches and staff from the Reno Bighorns made a stop at Sonoma Heights Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon. Managing owner Herb Santos, Jr. and head coach Joel Abelson spoke to the students, as did players Mo Charlo, Brandon Heath and David Palmer. Bruno, the Bighorns mascot, was also in attendance to entertain the students.
