Mayor pro tem Doug Cain presented Chris Entwistle, community member and active Relay for Life volunteer, with a proclamation at Tuesday's city council meeting. The document proclaimed the week of July 14-20, 2013 as "Paint the Town Purple Week." It also proclaimed July 20 and 21 Relay for Life days in Winnemucca. The proclamation urges "all citizens to recognize and participate in the anti-cancer campaign held in our community."
