WINNEMUCCA - This is the men's furnishings department of the Reinhart Store. Walter Wright, the older gentleman, was the manager, Forrest Churchill, the clerk. Pretty sharp dressers, both gentlemen made good advertisements for the goods they sold. This photo, taken in 1941, shows a well stocked, well maintained store.
The store was founded in1868 and renovated and updated in 1913. It stood next to the Winnemucca State Bank & Trust Co. on lower Bridge Street. In 1952, the store burned, ending the long retail history of the Reinhart family in Winnemucca.
