WINNEMUCCA - Registration for the fall semester of adult English as a Second Language classes will begin Monday, Jan. 23, at the Great Basin College Adult Learning Center in Winnemucca.
Classes are free and cover speaking, listening, reading and writing, and computer literacy. A class is also offered to help interested students study for the U.S. citizenship exam. The Adult Learning Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday. The center is also open Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
