WINNEMUCCA - Candace Puls shot a low gross score of 88 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Ace of Aces tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Lynda Walton was low net in the first flight at 67.
Nita Doyal led the way in the second flight with a gross score of 105, and Della Domingo and Rene Vesco were first and second, respectively, in the net division with scores of 71 and 74.
Kris Crawford shot a 76 for first place in the third flight and Anne Kelly earned low net honors at 80.
Puls had the fewest putts with 27 apiece and Linda Dufurrena, Jean Mentaberry and Karen Aldrich had chip-ins.
Puls was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 3 feet, 6 inches and Doyal was closest on No. 5 at 3-3.
