WINNEMUCCA - The public is invited to a barbecue on Sunday to celebrate the wedding of Jeremy Crosby and Szabina Somers.
The barbecue will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Winnemucca Sports Complex.
Weather permitting, the public can also watch hot air balloons that will be in the air around 7 a.m. Sunday.
In addition, Mayor Di An Putnam will be flying in Pershing County Commissioner Pat Irwin's balloon after winning a fundraiser raffle from Safe Haven Rescue Zoo. Irwin received top honors during the recent Great Reno Balloon Races.
