WINNEMUCCA - All Humboldt County residents are invited to "book" it on over to the Winnemucca Grammar School next week for the annual Spring Book Fair.
The school also will host a See's Candies sale throughout the week-just in time for Easter. All candy, including chocolate eggs, chocolates bunnies, jelly beans, and assorted boxes of chocolates and other goodies, is available on site; there is no ordering involved.
The semi-annual book fair will kick off on Tuesday, March 26, and will continue through Thursday, March 28. The event will include many great children and adult books to choose from at very reasonable prices.
According to organizers, the fair is a good time to stock up on gifts or even to update personal libraries. In addition to the books available for sale at the event, fair-goers also may order books-again at very reasonable prices.
The Book Fair and See's Candies fundraiser are sponsored by the Friends of the Grammar School (FROGS). Times are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
Students, parents and members of the public are invited to stop by.
