WINNEMUCCA - The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) is holding a public hearing Thursday on its draft permit for the proposed Jungo Landfill.
The hearing will be held at the Winnemucca Convention Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The NDEP is also accepting written public comments on its proposal through Dec. 16.
A decision on the proposal could come within 30 days after the end of the public comment period.
