The manager of Mountain View Golf Course, Scott Bullock, who runs the golf course under Bullock Management, is set to follow certain terms in a deferred prosecution agreement with the district attorneys office for contracting without a license, a misdemeanor.

Bullock was also charged with advertising without a license, also a misdemeanor.

The DA has agreed to defer the prosecution for one year and dismiss the charges if Bullock is not cited or charged with the same or any similar offense within the next year and he must apply for a contractor's license for construction specialties for which he wishes to contract.

Bullock pleaded not guilty June 2 in the Argenta Justice Court to both charges. A trial date had been set for Aug. 20 and was then canceled in light of the agreement.

The charges stem from a misdemeanor complaint and citation from the Nevada State Contractors Board which was filed in March and alleges that Bullock installed a hot water heater without a license. He is also the owner of Bullock Mechanical.

It was unclear from the complaint what business he was contracting for without a license. No further information was available.
