WINNEMUCCA - Two juvenile suspects have allegedly confessed to setting a fire inside the Winnemucca Walmart on Feb. 2, according to the Winnemucca Police Department.
The case is now being submitted to the District Attorney's office for possible prosecution, WPD said. WPD officers were dispatched to Walmart on Saturday, Feb. 2, for a report of a fire discovered inside the store; the fire had been extinguished prior to law enforcement notification, according to the original WPD news release.
The store was not evacuated at the time of the incident and there was little damage to the store or merchandise.
