LOVELOCK - Friends of XL Hospice is proud to announce that preparations are under way for the fun-filled Sixth Annual Rick Maggi Memorial Golf Tournament scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Fernley Golf Course. The shotgun start is slated for 8 a.m.
In 2011, XL Hospice provided nearly $80,000 of free hospice care to our rural northern communities, including Fernley, Lovelock, Hawthorne, Yerington, Silver Springs, Dayton, Virginia City, Fallon, Austin and all points between.
The tournament entry fee is $50 per person, which includes greens fees, golf cart and lunch. There will be additional opportunities to win money and prizes, such as golf packages and weekend getaways.
